ABOUT US

While working at auction houses and galleries, and also the J. Paul Getty Museum, Casie Kesterson grew to love not only paintings and decorative arts but also the people who made them, sold them, and collected them.  These days, in addition to researching the history of collecting, she loiters in museum galleries, imagining stories about the pieces she sees.

For over twenty-five years, Gary Hovland’s traditional pen-and-ink and watercolor illustrations have appeared in the nation’s most acclaimed magazines and newspapers, as well as many international publications. His most recent children’s book, If the Walls Could Talk: Family Life at the White House, written by Jane O’Connor, captured the prestigious Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Book Award in 2005.
